Top anglers from across the West will battle it out for the title of BAM Pro-Am Champion — with the Pro Division winner driving home a brand-new Mercury-powered Bass Cat boat!

Mark your calendars for this exciting event, where top anglers will compete for glory, prizes, and the title of BAM Pro-Am Champion.
Weigh ins 3 PM daily at Lake Almanor Country Club Rec Area 1 – Beach DR Lake Almanor, CA 96137
Qualification Breakdown:
Win and You’re In
Contestants who win any regular-season event and participate in three events in any region during the season will automatically qualify for the Championship.
Previous Year’s Champions
The previous year’s Championship winners in both the Pro and Co-Angler divisions will automatically qualify for the following year’s Championship.
To maintain this qualification, winners must participate in three regular-season events in the following season.
Regional AOY Qualification
The top 12 anglers in each region based on AOY points will be invited to the Championship, provided they have participated in all three events within that region.
Traveler’s Region (New for 2025)
Anglers who don’t qualify through the previous methods have another opportunity through the Traveler’s Region.
BAM will invite the top four anglers in AOY points who have fished four or more events across any regions to the Championship.

Wednesday September 17th:
Practice Day (30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset)
Thursday September 18th:
Practice Day (30 minutes prior to sunrise and off the water at 4:00PM – Inside the 5 MPH zone and no longer fishing See Rule #9
Thursday September 18th:
4:00 PM Downtown Chester for a community Angler Meet and Greet wear your jersey – pro anglers bring your boat – we need at least 10 boats
Mandatory Tournament check in 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Mt. Lassen Theatre 200 Main St Chester, CA 96020
Wear your jersey – 3PM BAM will set up the photo wall (weather permitting) and shoot profile pics for anglers at the Mt. Lassen Theatre

Announce the $2000 / $1000 Toyota contingency
Crown a Champion and pay the field at TBA shortly after Sunday’s weigh in.

National anthem and morning blast off will be at the 5 MPH buoy from the BAM Bass Cat boat.
